fonts-tibetan-machine software package provides font for Tibetan, Dzongkha and Ladakhi (OpenType Unicode), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-tibetan-machine
fonts-tibetan-machine is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-tibetan-machine package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-tibetan-machine *
You will get with fonts-tibetan-machine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
